Svärd skall smidas om till plog - Original artwork

Svärd skall smidas om till plog. Swords shall be forged into plough. This title comes from the lyrics of an old song called Silvermåne, Silvermoon. I have sung it for many years and the message is very clear. Put down your swords, use them to create instead of destroy. A message that I will always stand behind. This painting is peace. Soft green with sunlight silver and gold. The falling runes in gold are written in Swedish but in the old futhark. I had to do some modification on order to write them this way but the message is there:

"Vi gör vad vi kan med dem gåvor och plågor som är oss givna." (we do what we gifts and torments that have been given to us.)

"Tiden läker inga sår. Men det gör alltid kärleken." (time does not heal any wounds. But love always does.)
